Accessible Adaptability a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient and their family with medically complex conditions. Our focus is on delivering family support, equipment support, education, and advocacy for those with medically complex disabilities. We strive to enhance the well-being of our families and their loved ones through advocacy, family support, social support, and equipment needs not covered by insurance. We serve families across Southern Nevada. Accessible Adaptability is dedicated to making every moment matter.

The mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families. We provide personalized care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, offering comprehensive comfort and support. We encourage open conversations about all healthcare options throughout a life-limiting illness. Our compassionate team of board members, staff, and volunteers is committed to ensuring every person is treated with dignity, respect, and receives adapted and accessible resource support and advocacy.

Our Story

Accessible Adaptability's mission is to provide vital medical and therapy equipment, support groups, educational workshops, social media family groups, get-togethers, and advocacy services to empower and uplift our local medical complex community in Southern Nevada. We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

The recipient of services with Accessible Adaptability must be:

Resident of Southern Nevada (Las Vegas, Henderson, Parhump, or surrounding areas)

21 years of age or younger at the time of application submission

Diagnosed with life limiting disease, terminal illness, or incurable condition

Diagnosed with a debilitating genetic, neurological, or metabolic medical condition.

Undiagnosed with a medically fragile or medically complex condition

**In our commitment to provide adaptable accessibility by empowering clients. We are looking to the future for ages 21 and over, we will actively seek out and develop programs that prioritize Accessible Adaptability. This means going beyond basic compliance to proactively integrate features and approaches that cater to a wide spectrum of abilities and preferences.

With over 35 years experience servicing Nevada, Care Chest was founded by three local pharmacist Bill Kahl, Alex Rassuchine, Craig Collins who recognized the need for medical and accessibility equipment that insurance did not cover. CARE Chest has been building ramps, bathroom modification for wheelchairs, car/van modification for your wheelchair, etc. for over 35 years in Nevada with local contractors. Contact them today!!!!
